PerPETual Care Program Fosters: A New Type of Foster
Our new PerPETual Care program offers pet owners a way to care for their pets in the event that their pets outlive them. We are looking for foster homes that would be interested in fostering these pets long term. This program includes all types of pets such as, dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, birds, etc. The pets will either be kept in foster for the remainder of their life or if deemed adoptable will be adopted out of a foster home (like our getaway programs). The foster home will receive financial reimbursement for food, toys, medical/surgical care, etc for the PerPETual Care animals. The foster home will agree to provide regular updates on the pet and allow home visit if requested. If the pet is available for adoption, the foster will bring the pet into the ARL for meet n greets with potential adopters or have meet n greets at their house depending on the pets needs. These animals could arrive at any time and our goal is to have them in a foster home within 72 hours. We would really like to have a good group of foster homes willing to do this type of long term fostering, if this sounds like something you would be interested in helping with please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
