Pit bull terriers are perhaps the most misunderstood dog breed in the world.  With proper training and responsible ownership, these dogs can be a lifelong companion to people of all ages, as is true with all breeds.  The Animal Rescue League believes that a breed alone does not make a dog good or bad.  It is our hope that through education, compassion, and understanding, pit bull terriers will soon be respected for the amazing animals that they truly are.  Some have given them a bad reputation, now it is up to you to fix it.

ARL “Pit Crew” 
Any pit bull or pit bull mix adopted from ARL since August 1, 2010 is automatically registered with a 1 year free membership in this club, but good news - anyone can become a member for just a $20 annual fee!
