Guardians will learn how to teach their dogs in a humane manner using positive reinforcement methods which in turn will enrich their relationship with their dog.
VIRTUAL GOOD MANNERS class is for dogs 5 months and older at the start of class. (Dogs do not attend the first week of class.) Guardians will learn how to teach their dogs in a humane manner using positive reinforcement methods which in turn will enrich their relationship with their dog. Virtual Good Manners is a great option for those whose dogs may not work learn well in a group environment, but still would like to learn basic manners.
Classes consist of 5 weekly sessions, each lasting about 40 minutes. Each class will meet on the same schedule day and time once a week for 5 weeks. Topics to be covered will include, but are not limited to:
- Understanding canine behavior and communication
- Basic manners: sit, down, come, stay, loose leash walking
- How positive reinforcement works and why we use it
- Problem solving
- Problem prevention
- Training tricks for fun and to impress your friends!
The first week of Good Manners is orientation only - dogs do not attend the first week of class.
No prior class is needed to attend Virtual Good Manners

Does your dog consistently react strongly to humans or other dogs?
Reactive dogs have a hard time focusing on their owner during the class making it hard for them to learn and retain the information they are being taught. If you are unsure if your dog will be successful in a group training class, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call (515) 473-9131.
