Carol talked about popular pet Halloween costumes and answered some listener questions about how to help a dog who reacts to doorbells and a cat who tries to get outside when the door is open, both potential issues when trick or treaters are out on Beggars Night. Carol and Mick also gave some tips on how to safeguard your pets while moving house, and how to deal with play-biting. Rats were the featured Halloween-themed animal.

Carol and Mick tackled several listener questions about dog behavior, including how to handle dogs who are resource guarding tennis balls, another dog who barks at passing cars during car rides , and how to teach dogs to distinguish between their toys and other objects. They also discussed a listener's parrot who's into Michael Jackson and Mick shared that one of his birds likes to whistle the Addams' Family theme, among other habits. They also recapped our recent Equine and Wine event, including Mick's demonstration of clicker training horses, and highlighted our Operation CatSnip TNR and Barn Cat adoption programs.
