Orientation is the first step towards getting started with the ARL’s volunteer program! It is required for all new volunteers regardless of area of interest. Registration is required and can be completed using the link below.
Please note that volunteers MUST be at least 10 years old. Volunteers younger than 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who is also a volunteer. View other requirements here. Please note that at this time we cannot take volunteers who need to complete less than 12 hours of volunteer time.
Orientation is held in Mapes Auditorium at the Animal Rescue League of Iowa, 5452 NE 22nd Street, Des Moines, IA (map).
