Join us for the 39th annual Santa N Paws with the ARL! Bring the whole family, humans and pets alike, for a photo to celebrate the 2025 holiday season! 

Reserve A Photo Session

When you sign up and reserve a 5-minute time slot, you won't have to wait in line and will be given priority! It costs $10 to reserve your time slot, which will go towards the photo package you purchase at check-in. (This is a non-refundable deposit)

Walk-Ins: We accept walk-ins based on availability, but please note that reservations will be given priority. Walk-ins must wait until there is an opening to take photos.

Know Before You Go

• Arrive at your photo session no earlier than 10 minutes to check in. A volunteer will help you select your desired package(s) and delivery method!
• CHEESE! An ARL photo assistant will work with you and your pet to capture a good photo. All you have to do is smile for the camera, and we'll take care of the rest!
• You will get the option to have your picture taken with one of our jolly Santa volunteers!
• All pets must be on a leash or in a carrier before and after your photo session!
• If you have a reactive pet, we suggest booking the first or last time slot!
  • Please let our staff know ahead of time by emailing events@arl-iowa.org or letting our volunteers know upon check-in so we can help make this a positive experience!

When will I receive my photos?

• Photos will be available for pickup on Dec. 1 at the ARL's Main location (5452 NE 22nd St., Des Moines)
• Digital photos will be emailed to the address provided on the order form on Dec. 1
• If you have selected to receive your photos via mail, your photos will be placed in the mail no later than Dec. 1
  • Please note we use a third-party shipping service and while we will do everything possible to ensure your photos arrive in great condition and on time, we are not responsible for any damage or delay caused by the third-party. If you do experience damage or delays, please contact our team as soon as possible.
