The ARL's TheraPets program certifies a pet and their handler, as a team, to visit nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, hospice facilities, schools and libraries to comfort and put a smile on the face of those they meet. After becoming certified, the TheraPets coordinator works to place the team with a participating local facility where they are needed and will be welcomed.
Attend this orientation to learn about pet therapy, the TheraPets program, and how you and your pet can get involved!
