Join the Animal Rescue League’s Education staff/volunteers and artist, Elizabeth Lyons of Kids Create at ARL Main for a night full of fun, painting, and animal interactions all to benefit the ARL’s Humane Education Programs. When you register, your child will receive a 50 minute painting lesson where they will create a beautiful Laurel Burch inspired cat painting to take home. There will also be time for an animal interaction and fun animal-themed activities.

This event is for students grades K-5.

Kids Create has generously offered to cover all supply costs, so 100% of the proceeds from this event will go back to the ARL’s Education Department so that we can continue to provide free educational opportunities to the Des Moines Metro.

***Parents/guardians are welcome to drop their children off at this event and come back for pick up. Our adoption area will also be open to the public if parents would like to wait at the shelter***

When: Friday, October 26 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
