Bring your pooch to the park and have a dog-gone good time for Dog Days of Summer at Principal Park!

It's a double header! The Iowa Cubs will be playing the Omaha Stormchasers in back to back games as you and your dog get to enjoy the game with other dogs and dog lovers from seats in our pet-friendly reserved section. And guess what? Your ticket is good for both games! The first game is at 4:08 p.m. (gates open one hour prior at 3:08 p.m.).

The first 100 participants to register before August 20th receive a FREE goodie bag from Hill’s Pet Nutrition filled with treats for your dog, a keychain, and a lint roller (can you ever have too many?)! Come out and celebrate our LAST Dog Days of Summer event of the year.

Tomorrow is going to be a HOT one! But NO need to worry, we are prepared and ready to tackle the heat.  How we plan to stay cool while still having fun:

• Changing the pet-friendly seating section to a more shaded section (section 12)
• Pools for the dogs to take a dip in
• Extra water bowls throughout the facility
• Frosty Paws available to purchase

Dogs attend free with paid human admission. Each dog will receive a bandana and the opportunity to be involved in the dog parade on the field before the game begins. And check out the ARL table near the dog seating section to get your dog their very own Frosty Paws!

PLUS - 100% of the proceeds from tickets sold through the ARL is donated back to the pets in our care. 

We have a limited supply of tickets, so get yours while they last. Tickets are non-refundable.

How to Participate

• Purchase your ticket below
• Sign the required waiver
• On the day of the game, find the ARL table at Gate B to pick up your ticket and dog bandana! 

One ticket is good for both games. First pitch is at 4:08 pm, gates open at 3:08 p.m. The second game will begin when the first game ends. The dog parade time is TBD based on the start time of the second game, please follow the Facebook event for updates.

Fine Print: Dogs must be 6 months or older and on a leash at all times (No Flexi-Leashes). Female dogs must not be in heat and all dogs must be current on vaccinations, including rabies. The ARL reserves the right to dismiss any dog.  The Animal Rescue League of Iowa adheres to a no-refund, no-credit policy. Once registered, if you are unable to attend, please consider your payment a tax-deductible donation.
