The ARL's Veterinary Assistance program is in place to help alleviate medical costs and promote veterinary and pet care which will improve the lives of people and pets.
By addressing the critical need for accessible, affordable pet care, our veterinary assistance program helps animals by empowering the people who care for them.
The ARL’s efforts to assist pet owners is made possible through generous grantors that aim to help those who may be dealing with temporary financial hardships and are unable to bring their pets to their veterinarian. The ARL's goal is to keep pets in their loving home and not have them be relinquished to a shelter due to medical costs.

Due to grant availability we are not always able to assist with major surgical procedures, grooming, and costs associated with emergency care. If you are in need of any one of these please see the resource list below. Another option is to set up a payment plan/financing plan with your established veterinarian if it's available, however, this is completely at the discretion of your veterinarian.
The organizations and services listed below are NOT an endorsement or recommendation. We cannot vouch for these programs and you should always check them all out before seeking financial assistance from them.
