- Sweet, gentle giant who is very patient and laid back
- Likes getting lots of pets and scratches and has the softest ears ever!
- Loves people and activity and likes to be at the center of whatever's going on
- Loves going on walks around the shelter and does best with a harness
- Knows sit, shake and down
- Young, noisy or busy children can be too much for her, so she'll likely be happiest in a mature home
- Tends to be uncomfortable around other dogs and needs to be the only dog in her home right now
- Appears to have had previous injury to a ligament in one knee and now has arthritis in that knee; we recommend she live a low-impact life (more info at ARL)
The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
