- Busy, wiggly girl with lots of enthusiasm; loves petting and attention and may even hop into your lap for extra love
- Recently went on a Dog's Day Out field trip and had a great time with her human companions: "She loved her walk, loved following us around at home, and loved being silly and playing catch! She definitely can be a curious girl and wants to explore all the muddy places. She loved the tennis ball toy, and any time we were in the car, she sat so nicely and just waited for us to get to our destination. She can get really excited on the leash and pull a little, but seemed to be easily roped back in. She was the sweetest girl."
- Already knows sit and down and has a lot of energy to learn new things; loves learning with treats
- Will thrive with walks and playtime each day and may love a fenced yard; also likes to relax on the couch
- Not a fan of loud noises, including thunder and fireworks
- Young, noisy or busy children are too much for her right now, but she has done well with calm older children (mature home recommended)
- May take some time to warm up to new dogs and may prefer some dogs over others; would be most comfortable with a slow introduction to new dogs (dog intro required)
- Has been diagnosed with mild hip dysplasia in one hip (more info at ARL)
The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
