HOW TO ADOPT: This cat is participating in our Shelter Cat Getaway foster program, which gives cats a vacation from the shelter and lets them enjoy home life while they wait to be adopted. They’ll be adopted as a pair. – Extremely friendly fella who is very bonded to his buddy – Loves to be brushed and will accepts lots of pets – Calm, gentle giant of a cat – Has lived with other cats and has done well with them – Young, noisy or very active kids can be too much for him (looking for a mature home) – This cat has a history of weakness or shaking in the hind limbs. This is likely caused by arthritis due to previous obesity (more info at ARL) – While in foster care, we saw evidence of a condition called feline inflammatory lower airway disease or feline asthma (more info at ARL) All adoptable cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and FVRCP as appropriate for their age) |
