- Recently went on a Dog's Day Out field trip and had a great time with her human companions: "Rosie is a good mix of energetic and a lovebug. We walked for an hour and she didn't get tired. She loved to roll around underneath the shady bushes and have her belly rubbed. She did great in the car and was most comfortable sitting right next to me where she could have the A/C blowing on her while my arm was around her. She's very affectionate and often gave me kisses to let me know how happy she was to be out. She's a wonderful dog and I can't believe she's still at the shelter."
- Tends to be socially awkward with other dogs but enjoys spending time with dogs who have a similar play style (dog intro recommended)

All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)
The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
