Additional Details
- A fun, active cat who will need some time to settle into his new home
- He has some spice to his personality and will likely do best with an adopter who has experience with cats, and can read his body language; however, once he settles into his new home, he is quite the affectionate cat
- Enjoys being near his family, but is also independent and likes his "me" time
- Loves cuddling with his blanket
- An affectionate guy - he likes to lay beside you or on your lap with constant purring!
- He takes a little bit of time to warm up to other cats, however once he does, he loves to play with them
- Needs a home WITHOUT dogs
- Has done well with older children who have been around animals before and can leave him alone when he's had enough play time
- Enjoys being near his family and sitting next to you while you are watching movies or playing games on the couch or bed
- Loves to rub against people's legs, and he loves to nudge you with his nose to say that he wants attention
This cat has shown signs of overstimulation while in the shelter. Lots of handling, playing with hands, and excessive petting can cause them to overstimulate, which can result in scratching and/or biting. This cat is looking for experienced cat owners who will watch this cat's body language while interacting to note signs of overstimulation (tail waving, fur rippling, dilated pupils, ears turned back and quick body movements) and be willing to respect their boundaries. This cat will also benefit from interactive toys such as wands and ball spinners while playing. We are happy to speak with you more when you visit and can provide post-adoption resources. If you can give this cat mental stimulation, patience and space when they need it, please consider adopting! They would love to be your sidekick and buddy for life!
All adoptable cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and FVRCP as appropriate for their age)
