Pocus and Hocus are Bonded Buddies. They’ll be adopted as a pair.

– Arrived at the ARL shy and undersocialized but has made wonderful progress in a foster home

– Once he feels comfortable, he’s a snuggle buddy who loves to cuddle on the couch with you; will purr loudly and flop over to get rubs

– Likes all types of toys

– Enjoys Churu and other tube-style treats, and that will be a great way to win his heart!

– Has an abnormal gait that causes him to sway and stand with a wide stance, but he gets around pretty well and jumps onto the couch in his foster home (more info at ARL)

This cat can be fearful and may need extra time to adjust to a new home. We’ve seen good progress here at the ARL, but don’t be surprised if it takes several weeks for this cat to become comfortable in a new place. This cat may hide and just observe at first – maybe for quite a while – and that is perfectly normal. Young children are too much for this cat right now, so we are highly recommending a quiet, mature home. We are happy to provide post-adoption resources. If you can give this cat extra time, patience and TLC, please consider adopting! It will be so rewarding to watch them gain confidence and start enjoying all the good things in life!
