HOW TO ADOPT: This cat is participating in our Shelter Cat Getaway foster program, which gives cats a vacation from the shelter and lets them enjoy home life while they wait to be adopted. Big Ben and Little Buddy are Bonded Buddies. They’ll be adopted as a pair.

– A large, mellow cat that is not really a lap cat but loves hanging around his buddy and his humans to see everything that is going on around him

– He will stretch out, ready for pets, but you still need to ask him by letting him sniff your hand. If he nudges your hand, he’s ready for cheek scratches – otherwise, he is good about telling you when he has had enough

– LOVES to “hunt” his cat toys, especially his feather wands and pipe cleaners; he also enjoys his treat maze boxes

– Young, busy children are likely not a good fit for him, so he will do best in a home with older children who have been around cats before, or just adults

All adoptable cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and FVRCP as appropriate for their age)
