- A very curious boy who likes to know exactly what you're up to!
- Likes to cuddle and especially get head scratches; will let you know when he has had enough and is happiest when he's allowed to decide when he's done interacting
- Big fan of catnip and track toys
- Not a fan of loud noises and quick movements, and can be sensitive about being touched when he's not in the mood, so he will likely do best in a home where all family members are old enough to understand how to be respectful of him
- Not a fan of dogs and can be uncertain about other animals; will likely do best as the only pet in his new home
- Looking for someone who will be patient with him as he settles in and give him as much time and space as he needs to feel safe
- May do best with a veterinarian who uses Fear Free techniques
This cat can be fearful and may need extra time to adjust to a new home. We've seen good progress here at the ARL, but don't be surprised if it takes several weeks for this cat to become comfortable in a new place. This cat may hide and just observe at first - maybe for quite a while - and that is perfectly normal. Young children are too much for this cat right now, so we are highly recommending a quiet, mature home. We are happy to provide post-adoption resources. If you can give this cat extra time, patience and TLC, please consider adopting! It will be so rewarding to watch them gain confidence and start enjoying all the good things in life!
