Volunteer in our Kitten Nursery! 

Have you heard? We have a new kitten nursery! Sign up for this orientation to learn more about feeding and caring for NICU kittens within the nursery, and assisting our staff on daily tasks. 

We ask that all interested volunteers attend an orientation session before they sign up as a nursery volunteer

Some of which may include:

• Working independently and in groups to feed and care for kittens within the nursery. 
• Maintaining a clean and safe workspace within the nursery by abiding by procedures and protocols 
• Communicating medical concerns, behavior observations, and supply needs to a senior staff member. 
• Daily and general cleaning, including but not limited to: dishes, mopping, disinfecting surfaces, and deep cleaning kennels. 
• Uploading documents and keeping accurate records of kittens within the nursery 
• Providing basic medical care as directed. 

Potential willingness to work a shift overnight is a plus!
