For Businesses
If you’d like to get involved, here are just some of the ways, big and small, that your company can make a difference for the animals.
Are you looking for a way your business can give back to the community? Get involved with the ARL! We’re proud to have many local businesses give time and monetary support to our programs. And it’s not just good for the animals, it’s good for your employees and your business too.
Have a different way you’d like to get involved? Let us know! We’re always interested in building new relationships and seeing how we can do even more for the animals. Email us at events@arl-iowa.org for information on advertising, event sponsorships, or other customized partnerships.
Volunteer
Bring your work team to the ARL and help around the shelter. We have larger projects suitable for volunteer groups, and events every month!
Cuddle Break
Pets at work? Yes, please! We’ll bring cuddly, adoptable pets to your business to provide snuggles and playtime for your employees.
Sponsor An Event
Through an event sponsorship, your company will be associated with the event and know that your contribution is changing lives.
Donate Proceeds
Create a special promotion for your products or services and donate proceeds from sales to the ARL to support the animals.
Host a Donation Bank
Coffee shops, gas stations, delis and businesses with high check out traffic are great locations to host an ARL donation bank.
Collect Donations
Host a donation drive for employees and customers to bring items to be donated to the ARL. Click to see our Fetch! List
Event Request
Would you like to have the ARL participate in your event? Please fill out this form to submit your request.
Office Cat
Having a cat around the office can help reduce stress for your employees, and your customers too! It also gives the cat a break from the shelter.
Denim for Dogs
Employees wear jeans in exchange for a donation to the ARL. What a great way to support the animals and offer employees an incentive for donating.
Adopt A Dog Cutout
Display an ARL dog in your lobby or other high-traffic areas and encourage customers to take a photo to promote adopting a new friend.
