Chad Rasmussen
Vice President of the Board & Director of Asset Management, Kum&Go Corporation

Chad Rasmussen has been at the forefront of the commercial real estate business, successfully assisting multiple companies and individuals throughout a multitude of industry fluctuations.
Chad began his career at Principal Financial Group managing actuarial valuations, IRS filings and pension plan compliances. At Principal, Chad’s strong business acumen, attention to detail and outstanding results helped him evolve his position into a team leader in the asset management division. From 2000 – 2012 Chad served as a Senior Vice President at Terrus Real Estate Group, leading the company from it’s infancy to more than 160 employees. Chad’s role at Terrus included overseeing property and asset management, leading business development efforts and managing acquisitions and negotiations. While at Terrus, Chad built a reputation in the community for being a driver of change and champion for the Des Moines community. Chad’s tenure at Terrus included a number of successes, including the development of a third party brokerage department and recruitment of tenured, highly regarded brokers.
In 2012 Chad joined the Kum&Go Corporation and is currently the Director of Asset Management, overseeing the design and construction of a new corporate headquarters which will be located adjacent to the John and Mary Papajohn Sculpture Park as well as leading the asset management function including oversight of a portfolio of properties for commercial, residential, office and development land consisting of approximately 500 properties valued at $300 million. In this role, Chad oversees the team who are responsible for preserving and adding value to each asset through lease administration, managing operating costs, marketing and leasing activities, divesting surplus properties and negotiating and executing sale and leaseback transactions.
