Megan Matamoros
Director of Shelter Operations
Megan is the ARL's Director of Shelter Operations. She comes with over 13 years of animal care experience with exotic and domestic animals. She has worked at several non-profit organizations. She earned a B.S. in Zoology from University of West Florida. Megan regularly volunteers with the ARL's Therapets program and enjoys educating the community about responsible pet ownership.
Megan Matamoros joined the ARL in March of 2024 and is responsible for overseeing and leading shelter team's operations.
