Additional Details
- Likes playing with squeaky toys and tennis balls and is great at trading them out for treats
- Loves being around people and seeks out attention
- Enjoys cuddling with you when you're home relaxing
- Already know sit, shake and down and previous family said he was crate-trained
- Has lived with children and did OK with them; tends to match children's energy and may forget to watch out for those around him when he's excited, so he may do best with kids who are big enough and mature enough to be OK with that
- Lived with a couple of senior dogs in his previous home but tends to avoid some dogs, especially if they're more pushy; prefers like-minded dog friends (dog intro recommended)
- Underwent surgery at the ARL for entropion, a condition where his eyelids were rolled inward; is doing great now and his fur is in the process of growing back (more info at ARL)
The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
