- A stoic guy with a charming soft side
- Loves toys, especially stuffies, and will try to fit several in his mouth at one time; when he really loves a stuffie, he'll show it off and may even push it at you so you're sure to see how awesome it is!
- Likes to play tug and fetch and is a pretty gentle player; may also just sit beside you while playing with a toy
- Loves to be petted and lay across your lap
- Knows sit and takes treats gently; would be fun to train
- Pulls hard on a leash right now - everything is just so interesting! - so a harness will be ideal for walking
- May do best in a more mature home where he can take his time settling in
- A bit socially awkward with other dogs and may need a little help understanding boundaries (dog intro required)
- We don't know his history with cats
- We think his coloring is a little bit like a burnt marshmallow

All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)
The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
