- Loves to learn and has great focus - especially if you have treats - so would be a lot of fun to train

- Recently went on a Dog's Day Out field trip and had a great time with her human companions: "She loves sniffing around outside but is tired after a good long walk. She enjoys snuggling and wants to be right beside you on the couch. Cinnamon walks well and doesn't pull hard on the leash. She never barked the entire day, even when other dogs barked close to her."
- May be introverted around other dogs and may prefer one-on-one interactions or smaller groups of dog friends; may not be comfortable at dog parks or at large, dog-friendly events (dog intro recommended)
- Tends to be a linebacker-type player with other dogs, which some dogs may not appreciate; will likely do best with a select group of rough-and-tumble dog friends with a similar play style (dog intro recommended)
- Can be socially awkward with other dogs (dog intro recommended)
- Young, noisy or busy children can be too much for them (mature home recommended)
All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)
The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
