---
- Loves people and companionship and prefers to be close to her people
- Spend time in a foster home and her foster family said she slept through the night in their bedroom
- Foster family says she has occasionally barked when they come home but is generally a pretty quiet girl
- Tends to graze on her food rather than eat it all at once
- Foster family says she is very interested in everything she sees and hears on walks and may want to stop and observe
- Shy pup who may need extra time to warm up to new people and things; will likely open up in a home environment with patience and time and may prefer a calm, quiet home
- Appears to be potty trained, just remember any dog may take time to adjust to a new schedule and routine
- May take some time to warm up to new dogs and may prefer some dogs over others; would be most comfortable with a slow introduction to new dogs (dog intro recommended)
All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)
The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
