Iowans for Animal Welfare Conference
The Iowa Federation of Humane Societies presents the Iowans for Animal Welfare conference. The conference is a great opportunity to network with other Iowans active in the animal welfare field or interested in animal welfare. The Iowans for Animal Welfare Conference is a two day conference including a half-day in depth workshop, a networking session to share issues and ideas, and presentations by local and national experts on topics of interest to shelter professionals, volunteers, and individuals.

IFHS 2017 Impact Grant
The Iowa Federation of Humane Societies provides animal welfare grant opportunities to member organizations to benefit the animals and people of Iowa. Impact grants aim to support the work of licensed animal shelters, humane societies, animal welfare groups and animal advocacy organizations. Projects should reflect the needs of animals in the organization’s community and address how these needs will be met. The IFHS will award Impact Grants to organizations with a maximum grant of $1,000. If awarded, grantees are required to submit a final report when the project is completed or before 5:00 p.m. on March 31, 2018.
