Have you heard the "mews"? We are excited to announce the opening of our Kitten Nursery! This 24-hour care center will provide care to some of our most fragile kittens. It is equipped with incubators and other lifesaving supplies with the goal of saving even more kittens lives. 

The kittens are ready to meet animal lovers like YOU who helped make the nursery possible so join us on June 23 for this celebratory event!

Happenings:

• Nursery tour & bottle feeding demonstration from our foster team
• Meet members from our foster, volunteer, TNR, and Shelter Cat Getaway programs
• FREE snacks & a cash bar
• Face painting

• Play time with litters of adorable kittens!

5 ways YOU can help save a kittens life...

1. Donate to the nursery

Our nursery is in need of essential items to help the kittens grow big and strong! Bring a donation to the grand opening and earn raffle tickets for the chance to win prizes such as a private tour of our ARL Main facility and a kitten cuddle party (for you and up to 10 friends) and a basket filled with tickets to kitten yoga at the ARL, cat toys, treats, and ARL merchandise! 2. Sponsor a kitten

Send the message of hope by sponsoring a nursery kitten, or a whole litter by June 20! 

• Sponsor a kitten and receive your name displayed at the event, a complimentary drink, and 20 raffle tickets.
• Sponsor a litter and receive your name displayed at the event, a complimentary drink, 150 raffle tickets, and the opportunity to name the next litter of kittens that come through our doors.

3. Send a gift 

Unable to attend the grand opening? Consider surprising the nursery kittens and the other pets in our care with a gift from their wish list! You can ship items directly to the pets from Amazon or Chewy.

4. Join our nursery team

Interested in volunteering in the nursery? Sign up for an upcoming orientation to learn more about feeding and caring for kittens within the nursery and assisting our staff on daily tasks.

5. Become a foster parent

Do you have room in your home for little bundles of joy? If so, consider becoming a foster parent. Fostering saves lives by providing a home environment for pets who need special attention or a break from the shelter!

The ARL adheres to a no-refund, no-credit policy. Once registered, if you are unable to attend, please consider your payment a tax-deductible donation. Tickets are non-refundable.
