Pick Up/Delivery

In a continued effort to reduce person-to-person exposure and keep our supporters and staff healthy, we will deliver your To-Go Kit to your front door or you can select curbside pick up for your To-Go Kit at ARL Main from 3-6 p.m. on the date listed below. If you purchase a kit after the listed date below, we will reach out to you to schedule a pick up/delivery time.  

Delivery:  $10

We will deliver to the following cities on Thursdays and Saturdays between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.: Ankeny, Bondurant, Altoona, Pleasant Hill, Urbandale, Johnston, Windsor Heights, Clive, Des Moines, West Des Moines, and Grimes.

Curbside pick-up: Free at ARL Main from 3-6 p.m. on the dates listed below.

We will send you an email one day in advance which will include the number that you will text upon arrival; then we will bring your To-Go Kit out to your car!

Send as a Gift:

Connect with your friends and family by sending them a kit from the Stay at Home Series. We'll include a card letting them know it's from you and that 100% of the proceeds from their gift supported the homeless pets in our care at the ARL!

• Kids Kit 
  • COST: $25
  • Purchase a to-go Kids Kit for a child in your life! The Kids Kit includes our “Second Chances” coloring book, a box of crayons, bubbles, sidewalk chalk, a plush toy, fleece and instructions on how to create their own “cat blanket” for their pets at home or to donate back to the homeless pets in our care at the ARL!

• Petcasso
  • COST: $20
  • Purchase your to-go Petcasso kit and enjoy a little time outside with your pup! We'll supply the canvas, paints and a ground cover to keep the area as clean as possible. Post photos of your pet's completed masterpiece on the Stay at Home Series Facebook page!
    • Delivery Date: April 28 (Within the cities listed above)
    • Pick-Up Date: April 29; 3-6 p.m. at ARL Main (5452 NE 22nd Street, DSM)

• Quarantine Kit
  • COST: $35
  • The Quarantine Kit includes an "It's not drinking alone if your pet is home" color-changing mug, a "Grr-Ona" Beer dog toy, a string-art kit, an ARL coloring book and crayons! Order this Quarantine Kit to help you and your dog pass the time while you're social distancing from your pals.

• Dog Kit
  • COST: $25
  • The Dog Kit includes a package of treats, an ARL bandana, two toys, two Milkbones and a DIY kit to make homemade dog treats!

• Cat Kit
  • COST: $25
  • The Cat Kit includes a "sweet and salty" toy package (ice cream and a bacon crinkle toys!), a "wobble feeder", a catnip infused toy, loose catnip, fleece and instructions to make a DIY cat blanket!
