Enriched Einsteins

Enriched Einsteins is the perfect class for the dog who already has basic skills and polite manners but will continue to thrive with mental stimulation games. Enriched Einsteins is a 4-week class for dogs 6 months and older at the start of class. Dogs do not attend the first day of class.

While taking our dog on walks and runs gives our dog physical exercise, we still also need to provide them with mental exercise. The class will include:

Box work (use nose to find treats in boxes)

Basic Agility (hoops, tunnels, ladder, a-frame)

Puzzles

And more!

Please have the owner's name, the dog's name and the class dates clearly identified. YOUR PET'S VACCINATION RECORDS NEED TO BE RECEIVED PRIOR TO CLASS START.

DOG POLICIES - Females currently "IN HEAT" (estrus day 1 - day 21) are not allowed in classes. If this becomes a concern, please contact the Training Department at dogtraining@arl-iowa.org.

Dogs must be on leash and supervised at all times. Owners must pick-up after their dogs.

Is your dog reactive or aggressive to humans or other dogs?
What does it mean for your dog to be reactive? Dogs may be considered reactive if they bark, growl, lunge, or snap around people or other dogs. Reactive dogs have a hard time focusing on their owner during the class making it hard for them to learn and retain the information they are being taught.

If your dog displays any of the behaviors listed above, please set up a private consultation at ARL Main by e-mailing Petbehavior@arl-iowa.org.
