Cats N Mats: Pilates

Join us for a morning of Pilates with kittens presented by Element West Des Moines! Our instructor will guide you through a relaxing Pilates session with adorable and adoptable kittens all around.

What is Pilates? We're glad you asked. This is a mat-Pilates class, meaning that all exercises can be performed on a standard yoga mat. It's great way to develop balance, strength and flexibility while reducing stress and promoting focus and relaxation. Add in adoptable kitten cuddles, and this is an exercise class you won't want to miss! We will also be offering one complimentary "Meow-mosas" with extra available for purchase purchase to participants 21+!

All kittens in the class will have a Name-Your-Price adoption fee for class participants, so if you're looking to adopt a kitten, this is a great way to get to know them before taking them home (regular adoption counseling process still applies).

Class times: 

• 9 - 10 a.m. 
• 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.

Ages 8+ only please.

All proceeds directly help the homeless pets at the ARL. Please make sure to bring your own mat (or beach towel). No need to bring your own kittens, the ARL will provide them for the class.
