PUPPY LIFE SKILLS is for puppies between 15 weeks and 22 weeks of age on the first day of class. This class helps puppies start off on the right paw using positive reinforcement techniques. The class meets once a week for 4 weeks. Topics to be covered will include, but are not limited to:

• Understanding canine behavior and communication.
• House Training
• Biting/Mouthing
• Socialization
• Building on basic manners: name, stand, loose leash walking, recall.
• How positive reinforcement works and why we use it.
• Problem solving
• Problem prevention
• Training tricks for fun and to impress your friends

Prerequisites

Puppy Kindergarten class or equivalent. 

Fee

Does your dog consistently react strongly to humans or other dogs?

Reactive dogs have a hard time focusing on their owner during the class making it hard for them to learn and retain the information they are being taught. If you are unsure if your dog will be successful in a group training class, a Drop-In training class is a great way to see if your dog is able to learn in the busy environment our training center provides.
