The ARL is hosting a local Puppy Bowl with 6 adorable and adoptable puppies! (pictures of the available puppies are coming soon, but spoiler alert: they're ADORABLE!)

Here's how it works:

The cost is $15 per person for a full hour of puppy time!

There are a limited number of spots available, so pre-register to reserve your spot. These parties usually sell out!

During the event you can play with and love on all of the puppies and if you're interested in adopting, you'll have a chance for that too!

We will randomly select 6 adoption applications from interested party attendees. Those applications will be the first ones we review.

The normal adoption approval process still applies so if anyone is not approved or changes their mind, we will draw additional applications until all of the puppies are adopted. The adopt fee is $250 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations, and 10% off our retail store and training classes for the life of the pet. 

FAQ

Q. What if I only want to show up for puppy snuggles but don’t want to adopt?
A. That is totally fine! Just sign up for a time slot and get your snuggle on!

Q. What if I do want to adopt?
A. Applications will be available at the event or you can go to www.ARL-Iowa.org/AdoptionProcess to download an application and fill it out ahead of time.

Q. Can my family put in multiple adopt applications to increase our chances?
A. Only 1 application is allowed per family. Our adoption contract require adopters be 18 years or older to adopt.

Q. Do I have to pay for my whole family?
A. Yes, in order to make sure each person gets adequate time to meet and snuggle the puppies, each person must be registered for the event regardless of age.

Q. How will the puppies be chosen?
A. The first person selected will get to choose from the available puppies, the second person will then get to choose from the remaining puppies. This process will repeat in each group until all puppies have been chosen by adopters. Note: the normal adoption process still applies.

Q. Can I put in an application for the puppies if I am not a part of the Puppy Party?
A. The opportunity to adopt one of these puppies will be offered exclusively to event attendees.
