FAST TRACK GOOD MANNERS class is for dogs 5 months and older at the start of class. (Dogs do not attend the first week of class.) This class consists of one session per week for four weeks, instead of the typical one class per week for six weeks. Each training session lasts about 50 minutes. Guardians will learn how to teach their dogs in a humane manner using positive reinforcement methods which in turn will enrich their relationship with their dog. Topics to be covered will include, but are not limited to:
Understanding canine behavior and communication.
- Basic manners: sit, down, come, stay, loose leash walking
- How positive reinforcement works and why we use it.
- Problem solving.
- Problem prevention.
- Training tricks for fun and to impress your friends!
The first week of Good Manners is orientation only - dogs do not attend the first class of class.
Prerequisites
No prior class is needed to attend Fast Track Good Manners
Fee
This class is $100. Fees for classes are subject to change and are non-refundable.
