Please join us for Help a Horse Home Day 2020 at the Second Chance Ranch.

We will be having demonstrations by the Polk County Mounted Patrol and the Joust Team, Joust Evolution!

Polk County will be presenting the flag at 10:30 a.m. to kick things off. Joust Evolution and Polk County will be showing how their horses are trained and how you can use the same principles on your own horse.

The knights and ladies will also show us some behind the scenes secrets of jousting and stunt work!

You will also get to meet our horses and other barn animals for adoption! 

Note: All attendees will be required to wear masks for the safety of staff and participants.

All event attendees are strongly encouraged to practice current recommended safety guidelines as-appropriate for each individual including (but not limited to) social distancing of 6 feet or more, wearing a mask, and hand washing. The ARL will provide hand sanitizer at all events.
