Thursday, Dec. 14, the Animal Rescue League of Iowa will have adoptable cats and dogs at the John R. Grubb YMCA, located at 1611 11th Street. Come by between 4 and 6:30 pm to choose a new family member just in time for the holidays.

Bonus: This is a "Name Your Price" adoption event, which means you get to choose how much you'd like to pay for the adoption fee!

There are many ways to acquire a new pet. We're big fans of adopting shelter animals because they come to you already spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated.
