Court-ordered Community Service

The Animal Rescue League of Iowa is a firm believer in second chances and has opportunities set up specifically to help individuals finish court-ordered community service time.

What Court-ordered Community Service Includes

Available shifts to complete hours run from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m., 7 days a week, and the work you will be performing is strictly janitorial. You will not be handling the animals. If you would like to work with the animals, we encourage you to come back and go through our training as a regular volunteer.

Please note: we do not accommodate individuals with past or present assault, harassment, theft, or animal abuse charges.
