The ARL is always looking for new ways to promote pet adoption, and the Paws on the Ground program is the latest opportunity for metro businesses to help! The Paws on the Ground program takes professional photos of ARL adoptable dogs, then creates life-sized cutouts and places them in businesses to increase adoption awareness. Once a dog is placed in a new business, we announce it on our Facebook page. The cutout promotes interaction with customers by encouraging them to take a picture with the dog and post to social media using the hashtags provided.
