When Roxie came through our doors, our hearts broke. This senior girl was found wandering alone, incredibly thin, and missing much of her fur. One look at her sad, cloudy eyes, and we knew she needed help. They said so much.
Our Miracle Medical Team got to work soothing her inflamed skin and providing medications to fight infection. She was so thin she would need a special feeding program to help her gain weight safely, so we started providing her the nutrition she desperately needed and are monitoring her closely.
Despite all she has been through, Roxie is incredibly sweet. Her resilience is a reminder of the incredible spirit animals have. But Roxie’s healing journey is far from over. And that’s why
